My Reiki Practice
Beginning in the the early 2000's while living in San Francisco, I received a healing by a Reiki master in California that helped set me on course in learning and understanding more about healing modalities and energy work. I became certified in Reiki I, II, and Mastership levels through the University of Southern Maine. I've completed both basic and intermediate Therapeutic Touch training sessions, as well as obtaining my Foundations of Holistic Health minor. Earlier in 2019, I acquired my Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki Master certificate, which is proven to be a more powerful form of Reiki. In the past, I have served as a volunteer in the Reiki Program at Maine Medical Center and I was present during the birth of my great niece, administering Reiki treatments to both mother and daughter in the delivery room. Shortly after, I became a Reiki Practitioner at Apple Core Therapy in Portland, Maine. My work there was a life changing experience, as I deepened my knowledge and insight in Reiki and other modalities. I approach each of my clients with love, respect, and compassion. I firmly believe that Reiki can both calm and facilitate healing in all people and promote well being. By appointment only.
